I absolutely adore how velvet screams holiday! I felt like this skater dress shape was missing something, so I added a belt to break up the black and draw the eye to the waist. What do you guys think? Are you fans of velvet?

The color and pattern of this dress caught my eye right away, but the ruffle at the bottom was the ultimate seller!! Plus I feel the black details in the print are so simple to match back to! I hope you guys are having a great week so far!

Red Leather For The Weather

Target Moto Jacket, Topshop Romper (love this), Target Black Tights, Steve Madden Booties, Vintage Earrings

This romper is one of my favorite pieces in my closet so I am excited to transition it into fall (summer styling here). I find almost all dresses and rompers appropriate in colder months when black tights and boots are added. I was also stoked to find this faux leather jacket at Target, which makes the print on my romper really pop!

I am always on the look out for basic black items with a little twist--simple, but fun. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the detail on this shirt. You can't go wrong with puff shoulder detail and 3D flowers in my book!
